This challenge is about describing something very common, but in words that don’t tip us off to what you’re describing. It’s not so much that I want you to write a puzzle, but that I want you to look at something very ordinary in such unusual and new ways, that we have to stretch our brains to figure out what you’re describing. Here’s mine for an example. I hope you’ll try one too:
~How can they float like that? I want to eat one–right now. I always get the sense that if I had the bite of one, something would open up inside me, sharing a secret I always almost thought I knew. They’re way over my head, and no way am I going to be able to reach one. I’ve looked down on them at times, wishing I could bounce around on them. Surely they had a certain memory-foam quality ready to share. I’m ready for my ride!
